For Americans, is there anything that would make you leave the country? And if so where would you go?

I could digital nomad it a bit but I have loved ones here I care about so it would never be permanent. Plus as mentioned in this thread this is my home.

The huge advantage people dont talk about with America is that we aren't near any major global conflicts due to our geography and relatively safe in terms of natural disasters. Im in Mexico City visiting and while I'd consider staying here for a few months, the city is on a bed of seismic activity and earthquakes happen here. I was also in Oaxaca and they're experiencing a drought now. Its easy to romanticize other countries but they introduce their own problems too.

The language barrier is that strong for you?

Are you from Canada or the states?
I'm from the U.S

Yes, the language barrier is that strong for me. Living in NYC I had tourists that didn't speak english try and ask me for directions, they was speaking in their native language and I'm looking at them like :dwillhuh: .... because IDK what they are saying. One time this old asian woman had some kind of translator app on her phone :wtf: she spoke into it in what I'm assuming was chinese and the text came up on her phone in english, had me like :ohhh: That particular social interaction wasn't that bad I admit :ehh:

You'll be aight. My mother picked up Spanish when she lived in the Bronx because of all of the Latino neighbors. If you're not stubborn, you can understand any language in 6-12 months through immersion. Now reading and writing... :francis:

Meaning could there be anything that takes place in the country that makes you moving out of the U.S.

If so where would you go?

I want to leave now. Have wanted to leave for quite some time.

Once you just get any type of awareness of your environment, the history and current dealings of the US, there should be no question that you should leave.

I don’t have attachment to this land. My ancestors worked for this land, sure, for hundreds of years but my ancestors truly come from a land where they were for hundreds of THOUSANDS of years.

Anyone telling me they’re not leaving I put in the same bucket of people who love to use the n word and see no issue with it.

Just completely dumb people that have not thought to do any real research.

You explained how I feel

The whole world is mine so if one place no longer serves me I'll move to a place which does.

People change jobs and relationships kinda crazy that you wouldn't change your land
