I think it was a complicated situation. I often wonder if they didn't believe he was innocent so much as they wanted the prosecution and by extension white america to lose.

If the racial dynamics were not what they were I doubt OJ gets the same support.

Thought he was guilty, As a kid. Still didn’t want him to be convicted.

You have to be crazy to believe OJ killed two people with a knife, drove back home, caught a ride to the airport, and was in the air in less than two hours. All while disposing of the murder weapon and bloody clothes so well that they were never found. Keep in mind, the authorities say the murders couldn’t have been planned because no one knew Goldman would be there.

It’s more believable that the serial killer handyman did it, especially since he confessed.

In 2025 a Ring camera is catching him dump that somewhere. In 1994 you can easily slip surveillance cameras.
