Kendrick could remove easily 40% of his content and still deliver the same message. His wordiness affects his performance art, and ultimately his "replayability."

Without production and choruses, Kendrick is severely lacking in the departments that draw fans to artists in the long term....and i'm not talking about his stans.

attempt to sound like a cacplex writer to support a fraud cacadian rapper brehs

Usually large vocab isn't done right by rappers and are used as a crutch, but Kendrick actually has a mastery of the syntax he uses in that he doesn't wrongly or unnecessarily utilize those large words but actually impactfully places them in his lyrics. Plus Kendrick can kill it with or without big words and is still a fantastic storyteller so this thread is stupid

who said he didn't make sense?

I understand what he's saying completely.

I'm pointing out that he's trying to fool people with all of those theatrics vocally. Its a waste of lyrics to hide the fact his verses can't be as potent without all the filler.

nikka won 5 Grammys and is inspiring his generation. I think he got it

you think Kendrick is anywhere near Lupe?

You should be sent to a gulag for talking that reckless

Kendrick is better than J Cole, and marginally. He's among the best out right now, no doubt, but he's very much a superficial artist. He's more a storyteller and a (attempting to be) poet than someone who is trying to come into that elite level of rap skill.

Anyone can do what Kendrick can do is my point. Lyrically.
