Yeah how's the city? Is it a bunch of bytches there? I'd definitely get my cc there.
It's women everywhere you go, inside the city or in the burbs. Detroit suburbs are flooded with black women also, and as I always tell nikkas, we got some naturally beautiful women here. Probably the most underrated city in America as far as women looks go.

I agree but people weren’t lied to. They where taken advantage off by corporations.

This is the disadvantages of living in a free country. People are left to there own devices. How many people spend time watching Netflix and mindless tv.

I think people need to start taking responsibility. How many people are really saving every penny and working hard to get ahead. How many people who say they can’t afford a house have the latest tech and clothes and shoes.

no offense but how many people have time to tweet, make Facebook post and spend time on the internet but don’t have time to work another job.

I do think 40 years ago less work was required to get a house but quality of life is far better then 40 years ago.

there is a big stigma about early 20s something living at home but in all honesty those that do and save money for a better future are the ones getting ahead.

it’s a classic story of the grasshopper and the ant. The people who ran out the parents house in the early 2010 during the recession are now of age to buy a house and 10 years later in the 30s are now paying the price.

it’s a fake lifestyle people buy into and is a trap. It’s really genius if you think about it and I tip my hat to these corporations for pimping have americas population.

corporations are taking advantage of the uneducated for profit. Now there is an underclass that work from hand to mouth. Living as uneducated wage slaves just to pay rent and they only have themselves to blame. Welcome to the 20’s.
Yup of course these nikkas can’t buy houses they don’t sacrifice or save

I see people in my age range who stay eating out, stay clubbing, stay buying dumb shyt, stay going on vacations, moved out instead of staying home to stack

Yeah it's bad. I bought my house last year but it was difficult because I wasn't trying to get something super expensive but a nice house since I'm single with no kids. My realtor got me a new house in a great area but it was difficult because the market is fierce.

Good luck to anyone buying in this market.

Unregulated capitalism is bad folks. The idea that capitalism uplifts everyone as long as they work hard has been and always will be a fukking scam.

Millenials and Gen Z got sold a fukking bill of goods. fukk Boomers and Gen Xer's. Everything we learned growing us was a fukking lie
The reasons why institutional buyers went all in into real estate, is because rates were dirt cheap(thanks to the Fed). and way too much regulations in building additional homes. problem with regulations, they never go after the root cause/problem. Something needed to be done about the foreign cash that poured into this market, and commoditized our housing.

With rates coming up higher, the toxic balance sheets will get exposed. Once rates normalize, a crash is on the horizon. Let those big money investors fail. They took on the cheap debt, they gambled on housing, they bought into the housing market, and they're on the hook. And commercial real estate hasn't been mentioned. Let these mefrs fail, then address the issue after the smoke clears. I hope regulations address the cause the next go around.

Trust me it ain't Generation X's fault at all. The Boomers sold us the same bill of goods too. A lot of 40+ yr. olds out here in apartments. If it wasn't for my early military service even tho I make good money now I wouldn't have a house either.

I'm at the point where I'd like to try moving overseas if I can. Me and my wife do photography and video production, you can do that shyt literally anywhere in the world and you don't even need to completely know a language to direct people in a shoot (but we learning french and Spanish anyway). Like honestly if I'm gonna be renting for awhile trying to save I might as well get rid of shyt like my car and live in a city with a better quality of life than most places here like Madrid or Lyon with more focused transportation.

But then again, I've still got to check those places out tho, so my glasses are rose colored at the moment. But if I don't move overseas then imma do my best trying to get a spot here in Orlando tho. But you wanna know my real gripe with these housing prices.

fukking driving, shyt transportation almost everywhere in this country. I just visited Atlanta and I'm amazed at how overwhelmingly shytty those roads are over there, it's crazy. The idea of having to spend like 300k for a house that was worth less than half that 10 years ago, sometimes even 5 years ago, with no major upgrades to the roads, transportation, and even commercial shopping around it is just ludicrous to me honestly. Like I'd be pissed off buying that house and going out having to deal with mass traffic and getting my car fukked up with potholes everywhere also dealing with horrible drivers that police do not actually police. I'm ranting hard but I don't feel alot of places in America are worth what they are specifically because you need to drive far away from them to be entertained or sometimes to get to basic necessities like a fukking grocery store.

Market is crazy, I'm kinda looking for an upgrade to my current home (flat lot, 1st floor bedroom) but if I dont find anything, will just do some renovations and look again in 2-3 years.

Bought current crib in 2016, and I swear the Coli was on a "homeownership is dumb/not worth it" kick at the time. :sas1:

And now...:sas2:

Two things can be true simultaneously.

Our age range have basically been groomed into being super consumers. Especially in Black communities where we have people buying mad designer and financing foreigns.

Doesnt negate the fact this housing market is getting out of control :yeshrug:

I got lucky when I purchased my home.
It’s definitely hard out there but I do know a lot of people who are literally addicted to shopping and consumerism so they never stood a chance anyway so when I hear them complain it’s funny to me

Its funny to me too.. Low sense of self worth will drive a person to make bad decisions with money..
