People actually think if MJ didn't retire he would've won 8 titles in a row :russ:

The Rockets would've interrupted the dynasty that is just sports

No professional sports team will ever win 8 titles in a row :mjlol:

Bulls might not have made it to the Finals. Going on deep runs like that back to back drains you. MJ was thinking bout retiring after the second chip. Eventually you run outta gas, no matter how great. MJs break is actually what set up the 2nd 3 chips. They had completely retooled the team.

It’s silly take or narrative to believe Bills would’ve gone back to the Finals 94 or 95 had Jordan never retired. It would have very difficult to get back a 4th year in a row. I think they still lose in 95 to the Magic considering how the loss of Horace Grant.

Yes…the lack of a PF like Grant/Rodman providing interior defense was costly.

When MJ first retired, the Bulls surpassed expectations in 93-94 with their 55 win season, but they were hovering barely above .500 when Jordan came back in March 95’. The series against Orlando really showed the Bulls weakness at the 4 spot and interior defense.

This is the same Dream that went toe to toe with the Magic/Kareem Lakers and the Bird/McHale/Parish Celtics when they were in their prime when Dream was a young player. Did all of that and went to the Finals before Jordan ever did

Rockets would have won those titles regardless if Jordan retired or not

What stopped him from coming out the west the 6 years the Bulls made it to the finals?
