Big L didn't have great beat selection, which is unfortunate. I only bump his Premo/Pete Rock joints from time to time.

Big L was nice, but definitely overrated.

I think big L was actually a better story teller than people think but his punchline style made people overlook that. IMO he had a lot of potential and just needed more time
