Those with financially security cannot relate but for the rest of the human population, adulthood was only a dream sold to us as kids as this amazing experience

you will have your own freedom, "have your own house" "travel the world""fukk as many bytches as you want"
etc:mjlol:

Then only for people to grow up and realise this shyt ain't sweet:mjlol::damn:

Those at the bottom of the totem pole who have to work multiple jobs for shytty pay just to survive as inflation rises and wages remain stagnant and goodluck if you have kids and live in a city:damn:

The middle class quality of life is only marginally better when you consider they are saddled with student loan debts, mortgage, the insanely high cost of metropolitan city living and raising a family etc

Adulthood was never sold to me as a fairytale. I grew up knowing that a good life was not promised and some people would lead a shytty one. That just hardened my resolve to not be one of them. Life is not easy, but it’s damn good and that’s because I grew up rough and ain’t never going back. I love my middle class life.

Some people are lazy and some are just plain unlucky. I send up thanks everyday that so far I don’t fall into either category.

Since we're on the topic, i have to ask..

When did working at McDonald's become a career move..

I remember when i was a teen, i knew along with the managers, that this was a temporary thing.

Most people in my age bracket knew working a fastfood gig was a short live step in the ladder.. It never crossed our minds to make them pay us $15 an hr.. Our minds walking in was to be gone inside of a year..

At what point did the teens run into a brick wall and couldn't escape these type of jobs?

But some youngsters talking crazy to their parents, while living in their house..

Then when its time to put on the boss pants, its a problem?

Seems to be the spoiled gen-z/young millenials......Boomer parents mostly failed teaching the new generations how to survive and were too busy doing fukkery in the 80s/90s.....now we will all pay for it....

doable but on average miserable. Vast majority of people are not happy with the majority of areas of their life.
Because they're not adultin'. Ask those miserable folks what they've done to change their lives. Read any finance/economic/entrepreneurial books? Seek any certifications or licenses?

Most poor folks, at best, dedicate their time to masterin' bein' poor. They learn how to do without, never dedicatin' any time to gettin' more. Poor folks can stretch a dollar but can't double it.

I remember back when I 1st got on this site. I referenced a young bruh sellin' fruit at a stop light I passed everyday. Folks clowned. I bet not only was bruh makin' some decent change, but he flipped that hustle into somethin' bigger.

You can be in a completely different space in 2 years if you have a plan. A lot of people are just lazy.

Like let's say I've just hit 30 and I'm in a shytty position. Low wage job, unfulfilling relationship and depressed... Ok I can say to myself by the time I'm 32 I'm going to be in a better position.

First break up with my gf to give me the freedom I need to take more risks, research certs or attainable qualifications that will get me into a new field. Take overtime at my shytty job for a few months to pay for the course and try to fit in a hobby once a month to lift my mood.

In 2 years time you should be in a much better position but most people arnt willing to make that kind of plan and stick to it and then 10 years passes and you wonder why you still in a shytty situation. It's coz some mutherfukkaz know how to put their head down and stay focused on the vision.
