I will forever be grateful to my parents for pushing me to a stem education first. I realize now why they were so hard on me about school. Life is a freaking grind.

Also, at 26, I started seeing so many people getting laid off at my job with non transferable skillset. Thats when I learned to never be comfortable with a good paying job. So I grinded out and self learned other skillsets to bounce.

It sucks but that's the only I know how to grind out here is through learning skill sets. What good is "hoes" when you a broke and stressing about everything in life. F that.

Simply put, Life is as hard as you make it. Yeah some people gotta struggle with 2 jobs, but it's up to them if they want to make it out. As long as you keep debt to a minimum, keep your living costs low, save money every month, then you all good. People don't do that though so they struggle

Debt, credit score, and living expenses is EVERYTHING. If you got those 3 handled you can travel, eat good, smash foreigns, etc.

I just got my credit score back to 704, still got some debt, but I'm alright.:whew:

Since we're on the topic, i have to ask..

When did working at McDonald's become a career move..

I remember when i was a teen, i knew along with the managers, that this was a temporary thing.

Most people in my age bracket knew working a fastfood gig was a short live step in the ladder.. It never crossed our minds to make them pay us $15 an hr.. Our minds walking in was to be gone inside of a year..

At what point did the teens run into a brick wall and couldn't escape these type of jobs?

they're trapped in bills
You get a job for the 1st time. get $1000 credit cards for the 1st time.

now you wanna ball... credit card debt racked up, get a new car on a 6 year loan, apartment

$1600 a month right there, minimum gone

When outsourcing all the jobs that makes any first world nation a functional society, like unionized manufacturing that supported families. A service economy is always gonna lead to scarcity of good paying jobs and a hostile environment where people are literally cutting everyone throat while CEOs are having record profits.

So yeah, when the elites are taking away anything that resembles stability, let those McDonalds workers make their $15 per hour.

But one would think they would strive even more to get a higher paying job..

Even leave the state if they have to get a better job..

I really feel that some millennials are uninspired, even though they have the world at their fingertips..

It has to he more to it..

Easily the best period of my life thus far.

More freedom to do as I please. More funds to enable me to do as I please. Still young/healthy enough to do as I please.

Not perfect, but compared to other periods in my life this is the best. College is the second best due to the lack of non-school related responsibilities.
