For the first time since 2002, no more taking shoes off at TSA security checkpoints

Are you happy?

Explain this
I travel for business and pleasure let's just say that slides and sneakers are apart of my travel package cause I can change when I get there. I'd rather not.

U might think I'm getting fresh just to fly somewhere but everybody on your airplane is not traveling for vacation

Omg this is 100% facts.

Even with the shoe thing, I've been traveling where they didn't want us to take anything out our bags and told us to keep the shoes on.

Then other times they get real particular about what to take out and insist on removing footwear.

I got a pair of gray Nike sandals that only get worn when flying for this exact reason. They just gotta come up with uniform rules and enforce them the same everywhere in the U.S.
Some you gotta take your coat off and some you don't. Some you gotta have your bag IN a bin. Some your laptop has to be in Its own bin. Others don't care. It's fukking maddening and that's INCLUDING PREcheck

I ain't gonna lie, I get fresh for the flight. I don't walk thru airports looking like Christmas morning and shyt....so sloppy. And I run into people.

I legit think the fact that I say hello to flight attendants and don't dress like a Walmart run is why I get free drinks all the time on flights.

FINALLY. as someone who has OCD, i was always disgusted by taking off my shoes and having my socks get filthy from that dirty floor. way worse when they're white socks. It was asinine as we have had the scanner system where you throw your diamond up for years now.

i travel a lot and other countries don't do that shyt. but you can always spot the American taking their shoes off out of habit.

The Truth
I hate flying, so I do not do TSA precheck unless I get it before a flight somehow

But this is fine by me. At least it will save time in lines. Always wondered what was the point of the big ass scanner then.

I wear my Birkenstocks everywhere. I have no choice but to take them off because of the metal buckle. I have precheck.

I was flying out of Orlando and I saw this big booty IG model was waiting in the regular line. (Her name was woesenpai. Ass was out to here..) I walked by her hella slow so she could see I was hitting the Clear line. Got thru that bytch and cancelled my free trial. Anything more than Global Entry/PreCheck is pointless flex / overkill. Glad they put a stop to it, pretty soon they gonna have to come up with better rewards. Especially in some of these international airports that be dead as hell.

That's why I get there early and only wear shoes I can slip off quick. I'd like to pay for clear or pre check or whatever but I'm still getting to that level of clients flying me out

O'Hare was so on and off w/ this shyt. Sometimes they forced everyone to do the shoes, then while in line they'd say fukk it and let everyone through without doing the shoes. Then there were times when I'd start taking my shoes off and security looking at me like :dahell: "why you taking your shoes off breh, we didn't tell you to" then other times they acting like you're insane for not having them already off and ready when you get to the checkpoint.
