Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Every song can't be 3 verses, especially in this era of 120-150 BPM beats which are treated more like 60-75. If nikkas spat 3 16s every song more songs than not would be 5 minutes.

I do agree that Drake as a lyricist cannot carry a full rap album. IYRTITL was the most rapping he's done and continued his trend of lyrical regression

Cole's last album is a great example of the blend. Most of the songs have a 3 verses of bars from the rapper you're buying the album for.

I've maintained this from the beginning.

Drake is not a rapper. He is an R&B singer that happens to rap.

That is his lane and he does well for the most part.

If you would have counted If Your Reading... you would see it's his most rap based album, his fans hate it, he got beef with another rapper cause of it over ghostwriting

He needs to stay in that pop/RnB lane
