And you acknowledge that a world like that is not a world you would want to raise children in, while ignoring the fact that plenty of ppl are raising children right now and that's how they feel.

I'm not reading through this entire thread but it appears you have some beta males that would rather have white supremacists do racist stuff behind their backs and pretend to be friendly because they are too weak to discuss and deal with it head on. Either overt or covert, the same results still happen to black people. At least you can see it coming and prepare for it accordingly with racists out in the open.

Just now seeing the 2nd sentence that you added. Nah, bro, I think you're taking what I'm saying wrong. The whole reason behind the "no vote" movement is about us as a ppl, right?

It's because black ppl (as a group) aren't valued for our vote, right? That's what I keep hearing.

Well how does that overall mentality about US as a group turn into the singular mindset of "I'm not voting based on what other ppl want"?

It's like the convo goes from "it's about all of us" to "it's about me" whenever it's convenient. And again, no slight against you, bro. You know we cool. But I've seen other ppl expressing the same sentiments.

And all I'm saying is... if it's about us as a ppl, then yes, we have to make decisions based on OTHER ppl (meaning, based on the rest of our ppl). Right?

I'm like you. I don't have any children yet. You said that you wouldn't want your children coming up in a world where racism is out in the open. I agree with that 100%. I wouldn't want my children coming up in a world like that either.

But the disconnect between you and I is that... you feel that since YOU don't have any children, it's whatever. I feel that I don't have any children, true, but there are plenty of black children in this world that I feel a connection to, even though I don't have any yet. And I want for those children the same as I would want for my children: which is to not have to come up in a world where racism is out in the open.
