What type of job did you have before your first office gig? I'm in the warehouse right now and this shyt is getting old. fukk a forklift, I want to help people with excel spreadsheets and call people all day and sit in my fukking cube with pictures of my family and achievements. fukk moving a box, I want to talk to sarah (the geeky chick) about her husbands moving company. fukk a hot ass breakroom, I want to have to choice to go to my car without being patted down and searched before I leave the building on my 1hr lunch break. fukk "working" 8 hours, I want to send emails to co-workers, be a true asset to the company, be able to move directly to supervisor or senior in no time, instead of lead forklift driver (aka that nikka that been here for 15 yrs)

If you get a job like Security make sure you get a low activity post in where they allow you to bring a laptop or something to do something productive while getting paid on the job. Something like homework or research on what you want to do moving forward.

Yeah that's what my boy in MIA does. He just sits there and does nothing for the most part. My other friend sits inside a kiosk inside a fukking old ass steel warehouse in bama'. He can do WHATEVER b/c there is noone there but fukking ghost of civils rights past n shyt

I worked in a factory too but I was going to school at the same time. Im 21 so the culture shock of going from working with a bunch of college students around my age to working with a bunch of 45 year olds was .

Let the doctors and lawyers post their plaques and diplomas on their walls. When the shyt hits the fan their plaques got nothing on my "Certificate of Attendance Tenant Floor Warden Mult-Harzard eTraining." It's night in the office so you can't tell, but nothing like a 3rd floor view of a parking lot where homeless people piss in all the time.

In all honesty though I did stock work before this job and even now I'm only at my desk half the day. Other half running around the building doing stuff. Wouldn't want it any other way. Sitting at a desk all day can make you fat.

Well order pulling is VERY hard work (nice desk btw) and I'm ready for a change. I know it's not for everyone but I want to work in one. I'm sick of slaving in the bowels of hell
