a British oil company that was exploiting Iranian natural resources

both unpopular and inept. In the end, Mossadegh went down, and
he spent the rest of his life under house arrest. The pro-American
Mohammad Reza Shah became the unchallenged dictator. Kermit
Roosevelt had set the stage for a new profession, the one whose ranks
I was joining.1

You can't do anything about it until you KNOW about it. If I ask you to solve for x using this equation (x = y * z - 3) how would you solve it if you don't know what the variables are?

Then even if you knew what the variables are, it is likely that the solution would require a bunch of like minded people. If people don't read the book and know whats going on how will you have a group of like minded people?

Do you know what helped end the Vietnam war? People KNOWING the truth about the war and deciding not to participate in it. People need to know the truth first.

Yeah people are oblivious to the fact that these illiterate fools in boko haram (or insert any terror group) have military grade weapons and vehicles. Just the ammo alone would be a small fortune. Where does the money, training, logistics come from? I know it wasn't Allah.

Multinational corporations use our military and govt to destabilize resource-rich regions, either through economic warfare or actual warfare, and the American public doesnt care. Even if this info came on tv, they would just change the channel.

The masses are too distracted chasing the American Dream to care. It's hard enough to live in the first world without the thought of the 3rd World suffering ruining Game of Thrones tonight.

What we can do is empower ourselves and acknowledge what's happening. Then to prepare and build with like minded individuals for the long run. This isn't even chess, it's Go. You can use the system against itself. Once we change the perception of the problems, bring the macro to the micro, then everyone can hopefully find their place in the daily revolution.

Not shocked by this at all and the book was a great read.

The powers that be is collapsing however and other countries are awakening to this bs tactics.
