Because he's more dominant, is a better playmaker, passer, has better vision, is a smarter shot taker, is better at reading and understanding defensive rotations to attack, better at getting into the lane, a better finisher in the paint, and he's better at attacking defenses at their weakest.

Lebron is a smarter and more dominant player. For all of Kobe's skills, he doesn't have as big an impact on the court as Lebron.

Kobe got more rings though. And even if you wanna say the first 3 were because of Shaq, then at best Bron is tied. At least let him win more titles before you crown him.
