When did you decide it was time to get rid of it?

and if you did, do you feel like you're missing out?

Abandoned Social Media as a whole late 2013. For The life that I like to live when I'm single and trying to have fun, it doesn't work. Especially in NYC. My city is as big as you make it. Not big in size but big if you stay on the low.

Another thing is that I actually have shyt to talk about with my friends when we talk because not everything about my life is posted online. Can actually hold more conversations and meet up to chill over coffee, etc.

And lastly, I love meeting people in person. Especially here. I Love talking to girls at bars, cafes, parks, clothing stores etc, without them being able to do a free background check on me. There's a certain satisfaction that comes with meeting someone face to face. One that you can't get just sending an @ to a female and getting her number. And I don't have to deal with fake IG filters either. :ohlawd:

Being unknown is beautiful in NYC. I'm living like its 1995 breh. :blessed:

Don't miss that shyt at all. I Love being unknown in a world where everything about everyone is known.

Though some women look at me weird at first when I say I don't use social media, they eventually start to look at it as a positive.

I only use IG for gym motivation, I don't really use any other social media.

When I first made my Facebook its sole purpose was to go smack at females :shaq:. Now since all I see on that shyt is people sharing dumb ass videos, I only use it to buy and sell stuff on the groups on there.

Instagram was the same thing. But it got whack after awhile so I threw it in the bushes

I deleted my Facebook years ago. Recently got it back because it seems everyone uses it to connect in school. I rarely sign in and check anything unless it's for a group project. I'll most likely delete it after I graduate.

I barely post on instagram too. Last post was 2 months ago.

I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. I've never been that person to put myself out there like that.

Haven't logged onto Facebook in weeks. Only reason I have it is to keep in touch with family since I'm living abroad. IG has actually been a productive tool in helping me meet new folks in my host country. It's only as valuable as you make it

Been off the grid for a few years now and will never go back. Something About that drama free life that I appreciate! Friends tell me all the time to jump back on like I'm missing something. I don't get it!
