For those who stopped watching the JBP after R&M left

First things first, if you don't understand the title, either decipher context clues in the following posts or get yo bytch ass out the thread not tryna read no sassy ass replies about how you dont know what I'm talking about as if that makes you cool fukk outta here.


Anyways, after Rory and Mal left I didn't enjoy the JBP nearly as much. Maybe if Vince Staples was officially a co-host it'd breathe life into it but I just can't be bothered to listen to a table full of dusty east coast nikkas sound washed on every topic for three hours. R&M shyt dry too so obviously the sum was greater than the parts.


MDWOG is cool every now and then but I can't watch it consistently like I used to do the JBP. in fact, there's no pod I follow consistently like I did the JBP anymore, unless you count IIWII. I know dudes like the 85 south show and it has its moments but I can't listen to that consistently either.




My question is are there any podcasts out there that bring that raw, uncut vibe like the prime JBP W/ R&M days?? I want some shyt that's funny, hip-hop, talk about sports, current events n shyt. Interested to hear what y'all listen to

Yeah I bounced on both JBP and R&M.

Now I only really listen to Is The Mic Still On podcast from the DEHH guys. It's good for convo around current topics, it's pretty chilled but can be funny. There's no-one on there as loud or ignorant as Joe Budden. They have separate podcast for sports and gaming too

I know this is the wrong reply but I stopped listening during that whole beef situation and when the new people came on.

But they've really redeemed themselves, while very different, he managed to create a new vibe by making it a 6 person pod instead of 3

I only watch the clips of JRP ,maybe .. after I found out the nygga a narcissist, I couldn't fck with him after that. Means he will NEVER be Genuine and his point will always be biased and will argue a point even if he Knows he dead wrong.

I fukk with Queenzflip though,that nygga is RETARTED! I don't think he will be on long, they're personalities will definitely clash

The reality is, no. If there was the streets would have heard about it by now. Lot of these podcasts are past their prime. We still waiting on someone to bring that fire rn.

Been listening to DEHH/ITMSO since maybe 2011 or 13? Idk.

But I do remember being annoyed by Sophie early on….all the ‘sliiiiick’ shyt used to irk me.

But as she got older (or maybe I got older) she turned into 2nd best amongst them as far as presenting her points/counterpoints/opinion…even if you agree with it. Conversely Ken got worse in that aspect, or simply doesn’t give as much of fukk. The humor is still on point tho.


Did they ever say why she left? It was pretty abrupt. Was it the underlying KS/Tory Lanez supportor maybe shyt was just getting stagnant for her personally?



Tyler was another one that’s really good but is either gone or rare is on.
