I think we somewhat had this discussion in a thread that had nothing to do with the title itself, but anyway, it really pisses me off because people just don’t get it.

Do you make $4-5 every 2 minutes? Are you filthy rich and own multiple properties and businesses? Oh, you said “no”? Then why the fukk won’t you put fast food, restaurant, and grocery store apps on your damn phones? “That takes too long”, “nobody got time to do all that”…this is what I heard from literally EVERY person I know that I try to put onto saving money. None of them make as much money as me but refuse to spend 2 minutes to save money on the shyt they been buying every day for years. You’re gonna buy it regardless…

Every fast food restaurant has an app. Most of them have coupons. McDonalds, & Burger King alone does free large fries or $1 large fries every single day and have been for a very long time. Unless you’re buying “premium” sandwiches then the fries are the most expensive part of the meal. At almost $4, getting them for free saves you $4 damn dollars. Do you make $3-4 in 2 minutes of your time? Ok, then download the damn app.

Everybody complains about groceries…ok, fine, I get it. I’ll create a new Publix account, sign up for the rewards, and do a new account with a new order every day for $5 off of $20, which takes 2 minutes of my time. If Publix does this then I know Kroger, Food Lion, Winn Dixie, etc has to be doing the same thing.

Everybody complains about the price of gas but nobody wants to take maybe 5 minutes to do Upside and save $2/gallon on gas (they killed this somewhat but I went damn near a year not paying over $2/gallon.

Push it further…make multiple accounts. Yeah, you used that free fry today but it doesn’t show up tomorrow…2 fukkin minutes is all it takes to make a new account, log out the old one, and log into the new one.

I can keep going and going with examples. But my point is, people always say they need money and they’re broke or whatever but don’t understand that time is money. If you’re buying food daily or the equivalent of damn near daily, why not instead of opening up retarded ass Facebook or IG, how about pull up an app that’s gonna save you money? Unless you’re monetized on social media and making money from a legit business, you have no excuse to even be on that shyt for real for real.

If you need coupons for fast food your ass is broke af. But you got a good point on social media tho
You saw what I said about how I literally make more money than all of them, right? Even if I ever hit millionaire status I’m not paying any more than I have to, anywhere I go. Believe me, my own family doesn’t understand why I’m this cheap when I have some money. But they also don’t understand that this is one of the reasons I have some money. I been like this forever.

And nikka, I could damn near franchise a McDonald’s…

Nothing wrong with saving money at time or place.

I have local coupons for a bunch of fast food spots in my hood. I'll pay about 6 dollars for food that is about 13 and some change.

I use mobile apps when ordering to save time, not have my order fukked up and to save money.

Plus you just pick up the food and dip, don’t gotta pay there cause you already paid.

But those apps definitely are stealing and selling your information

This is all I’m saying. If you were gonna buy the $13 meal anyway, why not use a coupon of some sort? That $7 saved times doing that shyt at least once a week and you’re looking at $360 saved a year. Compound that with other purchases by doing the same thing and it becomes “real money”

I'm having flashbacks to the weekday afternoons when homie from Everest College was barking on me and made me feel like garbage for watching Maury and not working on a fake degree instead

Those Popeyes rewards points and discounts are clutch.

Free chicken sandwiches, tenders etc.

Yes, I didn’t even mention the convenience and cutting out the potential miscommunication over the headsets.

Hey, literally ever other app you use is doing the same, so what’s the risk?

Also, coupons are just a tactic to get you to spend more money than you intended.

Spend more money to save money, brehs
I spend all of $3 when I go to any fast food place. Nobody said use the app and be financially illiterate. I know the game, so I play the game. I’ll go to 2 different places to get the same discount twice.

Again, a couple extra minutes out of my time ain’t hurting nothing. It’s actually helping my pockets. If I can save $3-4 twice, you do the math over an “hourly” wage vs time
