At this point 50 should go all digital. You really only lose money in music when you press physical CD's. If you only sell music via ITunes or digitally via a website it's damn near all profit if aside from the video's and marketing budget. E-40 is mastering the digital format right now.
Dude gets a few artists to give him some free verses for his singles and do a dope video and then drop 3 albums at the same time with limited physical cd's. 40 drops hit after hit and makes a profit on every album and he's doing it indy but when people see vids with him and Chris Brown they think he's on a major. I don't think 50 had that option. He even admits the only way this deal worked is if he stayed home with UMG. He can still only put out music digitally if he wants but he will never be E40 or JT Bigga Figga type of Indy. Those nikkas are masterminds and never gave up anything to a major.
