I have my entertainment center locked in a closet and my TV mounted on the wall so I don't see any wires and cords. Can either of these consoles be use through walls?

Son the settings gotta be scaled back ALOT for any 200-250 dollar gpu to do 4K and a good framerate on modern games. I game on the PC and nikkas need to stop lying to themselves. That damn Scorpio ain't running no modern games maxed out at 4K natively. The performance would be shytty as fukk. U still need a sli or crossfire setup with some dope gpu's to be comfortable running 4k. My boy has 2 Titan X's in SLI and they still don't max out every game in 4K with 60fps.

nikkas could keep that. I would rather Full HD. Some dope upscaling or Anti Aliasing techniques. Great graphics. And locked 60fps. Who the fukk want 4K with wack graphic settings?. I would rather have better performance with great graphics. Im not impressed by buzzwords. I know better. Which is why I said if Microsoft decide's to wait and make games for the Scorpio from the ground up it can be somethin special.

Microsoft isn't making all the games. And your idea of "making something from the ground up" is rooted in antiquated thinking.

Modern game engines are extremely scaleable. The idea of "next gen" is not the same as it was in the past.

Devs have research, tests, surveys, etc to help make these decisions. 4K at mid settings looks a hell of a lot better than 1080p at high. And shooting for 60fps for every game is a waste of resources that can be used elsewhere.

It's very idealistic to say "I want 60fps ultra everything" but that opinion doesn't hold up to real world results.

Fam there's a difference between "can do" 4K vs being able to effectively run the shyt. Lol. I don't know why people keep falling for this shyt from both of these companies. They stay selling dreams and nikkas keep falling for it. If u dont remember. The consoles we have now was supposed to be "4K capable". The Xbox One even came with a 4K ready HDMI cable. Console could barely do 1080p. Essentially. Both the PS4 Pro and the Scorpio are gonna be 1080p 60fps machines. PS4 Pro is gonna have some upscaling techniques. I don't know what the Scorpio is gonna do but it's more powerful on paper no question . But I honestly think they would do better with the power of the system by making it its own console. And starting a new gen off fresh.

The fact of the matter is the most powerful home console experience will only be availible on the GOAT Box 1 S Scorprio edition.

The catch is you're not gonna be playing on max settings and the framerate probably won't be stable so it's better to play at 1440p or 1080p maxed out or buy a Titan X.

But people need to stop acting like those type of cards can't do 4K at all, when that's not correct. But it's for sure better to play at a lower resolutions because 4K at medium is good but I'd prefer all the effects at 1440p/1080p. Also alot of titles aren't optimized for PC so it takes more power than it should sometimes to run those games at certain resolutions.

Since the CPU in the Pro is still limited, I'd prefer if games have that option to just run at 1080P with the best IQ/graphics preset.

The higher rendered mode(1800P or higher) upscaled to 4K using their "magic" will still look incredible on 4K but at least give an option. Though you'll still get a nice looking image downsampled.

A 1080P game downsampled from a higher res like 4K or closer will look very good. I do that on old PC titles.

Exactly. This is why I wish more people involved in these conversations knew what they were talking about. They would have more realistic expectations. The PS4 Pro is basically what the PS4 should've been in the first place. I still don't understand them not putting a 4K Blu Ray player. But it doesn't really bother me when u think if things from the perspective that this is what it should've been in the first place. Only thing I wish is that the upgrades translated to multiplayer gaming.
