#1 is valid

Rest of the list is media influenced, missing too many/including too many joles to be taken seriously

This is a hipster cac list :comeon: they don't listen to Black music enough to properly rate any Black female vocalist, just like when it comes to these “all-time” Hip-Hop/Rappers lists.

They put a lot current artists on the list due to their notoriety and popularity.

I have a problem with a lot of the modern-day singers being listed when there's a plethora of Black women vocalists from the 70s, 80s, and 90s alone that are better and don't get their dues.

Roberta Flack >>>> SZA.

ROBERTA FLACK ISN’T EVEN ON THE LIST.

That’s why Forbes needs to stay away from music. They know nothing about music.

Trash trash trash. Worse than even a bullshyt Rolling Stones list.

That’s why basing things on sales shows you have no ears and taste.

Business is the furthest thing from having culture and sophistication.

Nah, I don't know about Whitney Houston being #1.

I would've slotted her down a few spots, same with Mariah Carey and Beyoncé, they should not even be in the top 10.

If anyone, as far as the top 10 is concerned Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, and Mariah Carey are the most media biased picks, imo.

I think Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, and Etta James are properly rated in the top 10.

Jasmine Sullivan not on the list :unimpressed:

Tamala Mann not on the list :unimpressed:

A. Keys on the list, Aaliyah on the list, SZA on the list, Macy Grey on the list

Makes sense if they are factoring in popularity and chart performance

Jasmine is supremely talented

But SZA is making history...think her last album is the longest charting album in the top 10 for a blk artist
