dont underestimate the sixers

hinkie straight up stole the draft pick from kings and they gon draft with the lakers pick next year

they are still picking up players from the draft and they already got some really great talent

it does sound scary if they manage to keep this core together

If Embiid gets hurt again, give up, because if they have to rely on Bamba or Ayton, whether they're good or not one day, the Sixers' ETA got pushed back 3 years.

The Bucks have the best shot of making it, but it comes down to whether Giannis is good enough to make vain players forget that it's Milwaukee. The Sixers have the most upside but it hangs on a perfect storm of things working at once and that rarely ever happens.

They wouldn't need to give up, they still have top flight talent outside of Embiid.

The Bucks have a great shot, the issue will come down to whether or not Thon can develop and they can find a secondary scorer to pair with Giannis, they can't rely on Jabari for that right now. The Sixers have the most upside because they still have picks coming to them from other teams, the Bucks need to strike gold in pretty much every draft while doing it from the 15-20 spot.

The logic of crowning the sixers as the future when Simmons and Embiid have played 30 games in four seasons combined is incredibly laughable.

Everyone is saying if they are healthy, you take offense to it because nobody is saying the Celtics.

Just sheer talent, Embiid is better than anyone on your roster, in this years draft or next years draft. If he's healthy the Sixers are going to dominate the East, that is realistically the only thing that will stop it from happening. Health and nothing else, if they play and remain healthy they will steam roll your squad in 2 years time.

@Malta both healthy who're you taking to start your squad, Joel or Giannis

If he were healthy you take Joel, he was the best rim protector in the league this year while being able to score 20ppg in 24mpg. He was putting up 23, 9, 3, 3, 1 in January before he got hurt, in only 27mpg.

Big men that are elite on both sides of the floor that and are extremely aggressive on offense while shooting nearly 80% from the line are game changers.

I don't think anybody is disputing that.

But it's definitly less than 50% odds dude can play a 65 game regular season and stay healthy thru 3-4 rounds of playoffs so it's all a mute point

But if he does stay healthy is what we're talking about, we're operating under the idea that if he does stay healthy, how do you compete with all the talent amassing on that team + him.
