Not buying a beat up 2k car, I rather have something newer with less miles.

Don't have to its up to you obviously but nobody knows your budget. If you can save 300 a month that can get you like a 4K car after one year.

Funny there's this misconception about used cars. Plenty of solid cars at 2k. Real nice cars at 5k and a ton under 10k.

I managed to avoid a car note forever but finally had to do it earlier this year.
Last car I paid cash for broke down on me constantly and had me renting a car whenever I needed to drive away on vacation.
Going from no car note and easy insurance payments, to what I'm on now. :why:

Hoping this is the first and last car note I ever get. Also hoping I can fukk around and pay it off early.

I've driven everything from beat up cars, old cars, to a mercedes.
Cars really aint shyt to get that excited over. Could hit the lotto tomorrow and wouldn't go nuts over cars.

Do you agree with this thread ?

Do you think you wasted your money on your Porsche ?

Considering you made sacrifices way before you got it .
I agree with the thread most definitely. If you can afford it, it's okay to buy a car.

I most definitely didn't waste my money on the Porsche because
  • Bought it used.
  • It's a classic car in high dmeand. I can easily get back what I paid for it now if I wanted to sell it.
  • It's paid off
  • I could afford it.
Nothing wrong with buying luxury items if you can afford them. I wouldn't recommend going into debt over one though.

300 dollar car note is dirty cheap lol.

If you got a 100 dollar car note chances are its something you should have saved and paid cash for.

The real juug is car insurance.

Everywhere...You never there.
That is how I do it with these cars man. I just don't believe in paying interest on a item that depreciates.i hate giving the bank free money on shyt that won't increase in value.

I have bought all my cars cash. Bought my wife a 2014 Honda accord cash last year. Then took her ride and gave my old ride to my nephew.

Real shyt :salute:

Yup. It's why experts suggest if you want a home to save on top of having an emergency fund of about 6 months. But people just get more than they can actually afford. It's why cc debt is a problem too. Excess.

If you really got it... go for it.... but if its a slight strain, then why do it.....? And what does that nice car really bring you that actually boosts your self esteem...... if you pulled a bad bytch with that car, I can show you someone in a 2003 Taurus with a fukked up passenger door that pulled the same chick

Who's talking about bytches?

Some people actually get a thrill out of driving, how a car handles, how it sounds.

Not to sound nosey, but those cars run for about 15k & up used. So you just had 15k just lying around?
