The contract Christian was released from was reportedly his performer’s contract, and not hisEdge and Christian Show deal. WWE hasn’t used Christian in action since his most-recent concussion back in March 2014. Christian was on Chris Jericho’s podcast earlier this month and said that while he’s not “officially retired,” he doesn’t think he’ll ever wrestle again.

Christian made his WWE debut in 1998 as a member of The Brood, and went on to win the Tag-Team Championships multiple times with Edge, Lance Storm, and Chris Jericho. He joined TNA in 2005 and became a World Heavyweight Champion, then returned to WWE in 2009 to become an ECW Champion and two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The Brooklyn Brawler, Damien Sandow, King Barrett, Hornswoggle, El Torito, Alex Riley, Zeb Colter, Santino Marella and Cameron were also released last week.

He was released from a performers contract, since he hasn't wrestled or toured in 2 years. He still works for them on the Network show

He can't wrestle because of concussions. While we have seen TNA has no problem hiring junkies and criminals and concussion-cases, ol Captain Capibara-face is probably making more money off the Network show than TNA could pay him, and WWE will still be in business and in the same office this time next year

Dude is 40 years old and has had injuries routinely for rhe past 10 yeasget those checks and still be involved with the product by having his own ahow with edge. Plus hes going to be a hall of famer with edge soon as e&c will get inducred eventually..dude is set

It's not about eating. It's about right and wrong. They chose Blandy and Cena on top while Christian had MORE THAN enough and was fan demanded enough to be right there next to them. All of this settling for contracts and bowing down to Vince like house slaves is a gay ass mentality some of you nyggas walk around with. Disgusting really.
