Really the main difference is the narrator his voice is nothing like the original

I watched it and I liked it.
The narrator has the right voice for it, but he needs to work on his cadence a bit.
But I think they did a good job overall.
The 2nd ep was better than the 1st.

Yeah I liked the second episode better. I'm glad they stuck with the old style of it too.

Yeah I agree. They did a pretty good job at preserving the vibe.
I think some people are being too harsh because the new narrator isn't the same as Peter Thomas. But those are some huge shoes to fill, and I think he'll find his groove.
The original narrator was born in 1924, so I doubt anyone who is young enough to do this show sounds exactly like him. But he did his last episode when he was 87 years old, that's pretty crazy.
