Very good series
Shyt took me back to HS with this one
Keisha's Gpop was an underrated character...ain't shyt son, supportive of granddaughter, helped the kids in the neighborhood through baseball...man when you talk about a village during one's formative yrs, grandparents play a big part
The loop of makeup to breakup to makeup to breakup was adeptly captured in the series, especially with the integration of technology
Justin should've def hit the play cousin...one thing I learned early is when a bad bytch wanna give up the drawls, don't say nothing and hit it like a HR in the 9th inning...you can overtalk afterward
The gay play uncle was also very realistic...lots of blk women have gay friends, esp in this day & age
Would love to hear more on the backstory of Justin's parents. How did an up & coming chef from NYC marry a Northwestern & Wharton grad?
I can say this without feeling bad bc she's 26 in real life...but Keisha was a GD cutie...and so was the older cousin
