Forget "Doin it", Biggie would've destroyed the "Loungin" beat that LL wasted

People keep dragging this out to little purpose, because there isn't a track you can find that BIG wouldn't wreck more than LL ever could.
Ll is arguably one of the best to ever rap with the longevity to prove it

How people talk like he isn't at the very elite level and somehow inferior to biggie is strange as hell

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
the fact that BIG told the producer which specifc samples he wanted to use for his first single, and the producer just gave em to LL instead, is truly fukked up. If it was just beats he cooked up on his own then by all means, that'd be fully understandable. But to jack the mans samples for his lead singles and sell em to somebody else??!?!! BIG should have had him beat down.

And the audacity this scumbag thinks he deserved a chance to get back cool with Big???

Speaking of LL taking tracks meant for Biggie, those weren't even the only ones on that same album – cuz Trackmasters have said they were keeping the 'I Shot Ya' beat for Big too, til Chris Lighty snatched that one up. And they based it around Biggie's 'Who Shot Ya' too:
I always liked the "I Shot Ya" beat more than "Who Shot Ya". Also Chris Lighty was doin Biggie filthy. Lmao. And that producer was a piece of shyt. Biggie technically deserved production credit on them shyts.

If a nikka playing in their ass.
On a major about this shyt.
Plus said producer has to track.
or midi this beat. meaning back then unhook even a cord. You asking for major overhaul type work.
that needs to be paid for.
if you on a major.
If you playing in yo ass about payment. For a special individual beat on a major. Even if the request for the sample to be flipped whatever.
On a major.

You playing a game.

If you don't think said producer will take payment for the beat. If someone with a substantial bag comes along with the proper admin work and workflows.
to see proper placement.
Plus agreed upon paymdnt due.

This was more things big should have done freelance and got back pay from puff for paying for. Yet this was puff. So admin was shiesty to begin with. That cost big in this instance.
The badboy head honcho of puff stench admin wise.
hurt things up and down the scale of liability From missed artistry. To big's life.
Lighty was a worked up from the mail room exec. Who got there.
via moves made in earnest and sith urgency.
With power and a bankroll.
Lighty was an even bigger salute to crew namesake. Of being a violator in that time.
