That's fine and all but MLB does a horrible job of marketing it's stars. The average person likely has no clue who any of those guys are and wouldn't be able to put a face to the name.

1. They market teams above players.

2. If you're a foreign player, you actually do a good job being marketed outside the country.

3. There was an article a couple of weeks ago about this very topic and that some high level GM's and execs are pissed at Trout because he's not willing to go out of his way to be in the spotlight. Somebody said "all he does is play baseball and go back home to Millville."

Baseball has a lot of time to promote the new class of players because all those guys are young and with the way shyt is set up, they'll be on their teams for years. Aaron Judge by this summer is gonna be a household name though. He'll have baseball eating out of his hand if they let him in the derby.

The only star baseball players I know of in the MLB are Kris Bryant, Bryce Harper and Mike Trout.

I know of Mookie but that's only cuz I grew up a sox fan. I know of Mccutchen because he's black lol.
