The Roots' The Tipping Point album
no, it's not their best album, but it's a really great album that has held up really well.
The opening track alone is just amazing.
The sample of Sly and The Family's Stone's "Everybody Is A Star" was perfect

Don't feel like this album gets the respect it does.
My favorite Too $hort album again don't feel like it gets the respect it deserves.
Another Yay Area classic this one hella overlooked in my opinion I'll say this and Mac Mall Illegal Business was the best album that came out of that Young Black Brotha records in the early 90's

I remember this album getting shytted on when it was first released, but I think it got extra pressure being touted as their last album
It was always a dope album. It was just that 98 was stacked heavily that year
Iconic Cash Money don't get that with Universal without UNLV playing a hand in it.
