From Woodlawn HS to the League....real source of pride for my city.

He had a weekly segment on the local sports-talk station, at least during football season. Chopped it up real nice and you could tell he believed in doing right by his hometown.

RIPower, brother. Way too young.

We always talk about the celebrity sports c00ns on here that talk down to Black people but don't do shyt. He was the opposite. He LOVED his people and helped so many in Baltimore, D.C. and Northern VA. He was a REAL brother. He stayed in the hood and watching his example made me want to be a better man and mentor.

He is the anti Ray Lewis. Everyone in Baltimore loves him.

Was it a heart attack I assume? My cousin used to be in his crew when he played for the Falcons. They were still friends to this day and he always talked about how good a dude he was. He had a condo right across the street from the GA dome.

Still don't know yet. He was the picture of health, still worked out everyday and was always preaching to us about going to the doctor and getting check ups. There just had to be something going on physically that the doctors missed.
