Giving game to lames since the 90s
I felt the same way intially, I know what you mean cause I played football and basketball every year from 5th grade to 12th grade. My senior year was the first year I didn't play football and only basketball so that was a shock. But my senior year is when I actually found other interest like the Debate team, Chess, College credit courses and actually thought about something outside of sports/girls. it was kind of refreshing.
I went to college and walked on to the basketball team and made it, actually played a little but I tore my achilles that season and that was basically it for the kid. I was cool though cause I still worked out, I still hooped in different small leagues but most importantly I cultivated alot of other things I missed out on in High School because I so focused on sports. Life goes on bruh, Sports helped me develop that determination, help me work well with others (teammates), and helped me strive to be best which has served me well in the working world.
Take your experiences from sports and apply them to other aspects of your life..
