Naw, I can't see any of these dudes who have signed max contracts ever falling off unless they legit committing murders or some shyt.

Morant will have made like 300 mill at the end of his current contract and he probs got shoe deals and shyt. He's an idiot but he'll never fall off or anything close to it unless he becomes a criminal
Aight bruh :mjlol:

Idk how many more examples you’re going to need to convince you that this shyt is possible but I’m not here to change your mind or convince you of shyt.

And just because contracts have been bloated doesn’t mean the cost of living out here hasn’t increased and spending habits have gotten better.

Then there’s taxes on all that money, child support, divorce (which Telfair says was one of the main reasons he was broke now), legal fees, bad investments, bad decisions…

And he doesn’t strike me as a nikka that makes good decisions often

Yeah someone who goes broke with $30 million can easily go broke with $300 million. In a recent James Harden interview on EYL he even said a lot of these young players don’t know what they’re doing with the max contract money they’re getting.

It’s not wishful thinking either, I don’t wish this on any young black man

But the more you make the more someone else tries to take. We’ve seen this story a thousand times.

And with divorces, child support, bad investments, and reckless spending then that shyt can get anybody caught up. And then add bad decisions and the “love” for the fakeass street life on top of it…:francis:

And supporting 50+ relatives, friends and sidepieces financially. If you do the math on that alone it’s not far fetched at all.

I feel like this might also be a lowkey clout chase. Given his name recognition, personality and all these podcasts getting gambling money, Telfair could definitely be earning money on somebody’s podcast. He’s probably doing this to jumpstart his own show.
