I just got through listening to the entire interview.... this may be Cabana's most downloaded episode he has done cause I guarantee you everybody in the WWE listened to it. I never blamed Punk for leaving and as a Punk stand I glad he left, he could have been a modern day Roddy Piper but instead they were trying to make him the new Duke "The Dumpster" Drose with all of the garbage ass ideas HHH and Vince kept throwing at him.

you can't be serious . He was the only wrestler asking questions about pay and sued wwe and got his money and his wife kept winning on tv . Man definitely should get more credit than your giving , he left on his own terms and got his bread

only half way through, and I will say his idea to do a tripple threat at mania or even put the title on the line against taker was a much better idea, especially since rock was leaving after mania anyway and it would look better than cena getting his win back, that wasnt best for business it was a ego stroke... However it seems like he left because his dream job wasnt as fun as he thought it would be and did the only thing he could and quit to go do what makes him as happy as he thought wwe would have.. and I dont like how he keeps putting him self up with Rock, Brock, and taker like he was ever as good as they were.

draw wise rock. brock and taker are higher up.
in terms of workrate and quality matches..
punk is definately better than all three, easily.

as a matter of fact, punk is the guy who actually revolutionized and gave a longer shelf life to the wwe workrate wise, by innovating it.

I give him credit for snapping out of it and being healthy+wealthy. But Kevin Nash has lived a pretty amazing life too and I don't see people saying he's a role model because he found a way to beat the wrestling business. Same with Brock Lesnar.

Punk was asking questions than no one else was asking but guess what. If they give him the WM 30 main event he is still working for the company. So how much weight does his thinking really have?.

- WWE has issued a statement in response to growing coverage of CM Punk’s shoot interview early this morning. Yahoo! Sports posted an article focusing on Punk’s criticism of the company’s medical practices, where he said that he was pressured by WWE officials to return to the ring while injured. He had focused most of his attention on WWE Senior Ringside Physician Chris Amann, saying he misdiagnosed an MRSA infection he had on his back for months as a “fatty deposit.”
WWE issued a statement in response to Yahoo! for the article, saying, “WWE takes the health and wellness of its talent very seriously and has a comprehensive Talent Wellness Program that is led by one of the most well-respected physicians in the country, Dr. Joseph Maroon.”
It is perhaps noteworthy that there is no mention of Dr. Amann in the WWE statement.
