Also, they wasted money to change the name back (while constantly complaining about government spending), and they shytted on a well respected cac and his wife from the Vietnam era in the process after changing the name back to Benning from Moore (named after LTG Hal Moore and his wife, Julia)

Fort Cavazos, was originally Fort Hood which was named after a Confederate general, is named after Richard Cavazos, the first Hispanic four star general who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions in the Korean War.
