Dc doesn't play like an arcade racer though, idk where yall get the impression that it does. the feature list of both games being compared is silly as they're unrelated in direction. There's a lot of misinformed people out there pertaining to Driveclub. It's almost out, you'll see what it's like soon. I can't wait i haven't been excited for a racer since forever. Last racing game I legitimately enjoyed was split second, burnout 3 and Motorstorm apocalypse.

We'll see about that. It looks like something I'd rather play compared to GT or Forza which I'm not a fan of(Except Horizon 2 which looks dope). I'm stoked for this shyt. September-December is gonna be jam packed for me.

how many cars are you realistically going to race with? having a billion cars is cool on paper but lets be real here. gran turismo had a shytload, a shytLOAD of cars and I fukked with maybe 5 different vehicles. 50 is more than enough variety.
That forza open world and that futuristic GPS though

Just depends on if there's a class system. (A-Class, B-Class, S-Class). In a game like Forza having close to 50 cars isn't even that farfetched. Having cars for specific car types (Muscle, Tuner, Exotic, Super, off-road, hatchback, 4/AWD, etc), class/grade (R3, R2, R1, S, A, B, C), specific manufacturers (Mustang, Ford, Audi).
Horizon 1 did a good job of making you race with variety online and offline. I ended up with a good amount of cars to cycle through in SP and MP,(and I wasn't even close to done with SP) although there were obvious favorites I used whenever I could, like free roaming.
