Public events only include a couple fire teams. That wouldn't have been a problem had bungie allowed reviewers more time early on.

Helping people find loot is something you do with your own team. Having thousands of people on a server doesn't effect this at all.

Same goes for your other two examples.

Bungie has gone out of there way to say Destiny isn't an MMO, therefore the excuse that they needed the servers fully populated to give the full experience contradicts their own stated goals for the game. There's more than enough reviewers and industry people for them to have given a fair shot at the game before it came out.

They blocked those reviews for a reason. And it has nothing to do with population

yea, it's obvious you havent played the game cause you dont know what you're talking about...for example: public events dont just include a couple fireteams, they include any and everyone that's on that server at that location at that time...just like loot: anyone can help anyone find loot...if you find it, get others attention to the location (dance, point, wave, fire shots, etc.), and wait till they get there to open it, everyone gets access to the loot....i get it, you dont like destiny, but no need to lie about what the game is about/like when you dont know....

them going out of their way to claim the game isnt an mmo isnt for the reason you stating....they doing it for money reasons....they going for as large an audience as possible, mmos dont do that......besides, even while going out of their way, they've said multiple times that the game is meant to be experienced with others...so no, they havent gone against their goals...and please, yall need to stop saying it's enough reviewers/industry people to give the same experience...

they didnt block reviews...they havent told people to not review the game...they've just said to fully experience the game, people needed to wait till the game was out and the population was online....that's it...

When have you ever played in a public event that had more than a couple teams:stopitslime:

And lol at "find some loot then dance and hope somebody sees you"

You really think not being able to do that would hurt reviewers impression of the game?

They said its not an MMO because it isn't "massive" in the amount of people playing on the same server. Therefore there's no reason that the servers couldn't be populated enough to give a good experience. How the hell do you think they tested it themselves if you need a million peopl playing?

they didnt block reviews...they havent told people to not review the game...they've just said to fully experience the game, people needed to wait till the game was out and the population was online....that's it...

No they didn't block reviews they just waited to turn the servers on until after they sold millions of copies.

the other day actually...it was like 10-12 of us there taking something down....who was on teams, i have no idea....

yes i do...just look at the reviews.....most of the reviews are talking about the game feeling empty and it sucks playing solo...no shyt, the game wasnt meant to be played like that...that's like complaining about a third person shooter playing like a third person shooter and not something else (something i've seen a reviewer do)....

yea, it's not massive in that regard, but they also didnt want the label of mmo on the game for money purposes....mmos arent as attractive to people on consoles as other genres, especially shooters...

testing a game and playing it to be reviewed are completely different things....

naw, i think they waited to turn the servers on the day the game was released...like they said all along....there was no guarantee the game was gonna sale like that....

And there's plenty more than 10-12 people reviewers could have played with to test the game

The reviewers played the game with millions of people so if the game felt empty its because that's the way bungie designed it. It has nothing to do with the amount of people playing the game.

You made this up. This wasn't their intention according to their own statements. The game wasn't built to be an MMo.

testing a game and playing it to be reviewed are completely different things....
Well how could they ever know how good their game is if they could never test it correctly?

the game was the most preorderd game EVER weeks ago. They knew exactly what they were doing.

The reviews say its not real streets bruh. You can drive across the country in 10mins
So at the speeds you drive, any REAL STREET would just be a blur... you better not use Turbo :heh:
Its a cool idea, but its not what we hoped. Its a fictional version of America with landmarks and likenesses
Denver will have mountains and it'll probably start snowing, drive thru indiana and you might see a barn
Not saying the game won't still be fun, its just that... People have been playing it
People been playing DriveClub... People been playing Forza Horizon 2
Forza Horizon 2 does what you want, open world driving. The amount of terrain is probably larger in Forza
Regardless, its more "realistic" and the game itself is not even comparable according to pretty much everyone

That beta starts real soon, so you can see for yourself. I will too
If its not as good as the FH2 Demo, its gonna flop hard imo
I'm sure you said some bullshyt so here's a gif of Driveclub.

unless all the reviewers played the game at the same time, there is no guarantee they'd played with more people....

actually the reviewers didnt play with millions...they got copies early and got to play the day before the rest of the world did....and they rushed through the game to get out a review....so again no, they didnt play the game how it was meant to be played...

what am i making up?...the game plays like a mmo without the massive people on the same server...yea, they said it didnt, but that's cause they didnt want that label for money purposes...mmos turn people off on consoles...and bungie/activision didnt want that to happen....name a console only mmo that has done numbers like that....

they did an alpha and beta...the beta had over 4 million people that played the game...i think that's a damn good test right there...

so you and others think the game wouldnt have sold like gangbusters if these reviews came out before hand?...lol....this game was so hyped and anticipated, the reviews were irrelevant....it was gonna sell no matter what...
