You know what stuck out to me most about your post was "Make time, not plans" because it is so true.
We get so caught up in the day to day monotony that we always assume we can do it "later" or "tomorrow."
Tomorrow is a privilege, not a promise. We have to take the opportunity each day to make a difference and hold those close to us who enrich our lives.
If we are blessed to have friendships that turn into familial bonds, we have had a great experience in life. I'm very sorry because your brother was so young, and the two of you were friends for so long. The best thing you can do right now is continue on the journey the two of you had plans to travel together. I know it's tough and sudden losses are devastating in a different way than the shock of losing someone with whom you are close, but you have your Coli fam here for you and it sounds like you have fond memories of your brotherhood. Keep ya head up. You'll be in my thoughts.

Not a biological, but my sole best friend since 5th grade lost his life in a car accident and died instantly. I received a phone call from his mom and she broke the news and man.......
24 years old and just getting started in life and now it's just over
Last weekend, my brotha called me and we made plans for a trip and he was seriously was considering joining me in business instead of law school and this happens out of nowhere.
We haven't had time to really kick in the flesh for awhile because of being busy and that hurts the most out of everything.
We were supposed to help each other navigate the next stages of our lives and now my friend, my brother is just gone like that
Just want to say to everybody, appreciate and be with your close ones while you got them

On another note , By Christian principles shouldnt we be happy when our love ones pass? Basically they'd be entitled to the truth, meet god , meet all decendants and ascendants ? Either way, hes in a better place...Kind of selfish on our part, I guess the nature of his death is tragic . RIP BREH
