Katsuyori Shibata went into the Sumo Hall with one plan and that is to destroy the Rainmaker. The match itself felt like a prize fight in itself:
Okada was in for the fight of his life while Shibata was fighting for...the spirit of Strong Style. This match seem like a typical NJPW long winded title match, but for me it was the greatest wrestling match I have ever seen. At the end of this match, Okada became more than just a "lolz Japanese Orton" as he presented himself as the embodiment of the old "Three Musketeers".
In Shibata's case...he sadly retired from the wrestling ring due to his close to a life threatening injury, but man this dude went out in style. Wrestlers often say that they would die in the ring, for Shibata it was Sunday
