Fox gets TNF

If you’re eager to watch the start of the Pat Mahomes era with the Kansas City Chiefs next season, you might want to make sure you have the right channel. Thursday Night Football is reportedly moving to Fox in 2018, according to John Ourand of Sports Business Journal.

Ourand reported Fox had outbid both CBS and NBC to take over Thursday Night Football last week. The company apparently closed in on that deal Tuesday.

I don't mind their analysts...I don't like any of the pregame shows on any of the networks. Picture quality is brighter than Fox imo but not as good as NBC

No Disney did not buy Fox. They only bought certain Fox assets. Fox broadcasting and FS1 was not a part of that. The only sports related entities they got from Fox were some regional networks that mostly are baseball broadcasts. For example they did buy the Yes network which broadcasts Yankee games.
