That was low class, a male should never criticise a womans weight just because he dislike her politics or her husbands politicis. ,it is partisanship to the extreme. And there he is mocking her, with his own gut falling over his pants.
Having said that, similar things and worse have been said about sarah palin, such as an mscbc host wanting someone to shyt in her mouth, another host calling her a 'slutty flight attendant', there was that so called feminist comedian who advocated palin be raped by a 'pack of black men' (her words not mine) Seems to me class has gone out of journalism completely .And while I wouldn't expect much from a liberal feminist comedian, men should be chivalrous towards women, and making a comment about a ladies weight is wrong always. I am not sure about michelle obamas, policy on school meals/healthy eating being very much a right wing libertarian , but in the grand scheme of things, with all the evil fukked up shyt going on in the world, there are far more bigger fish to fry and it's a well meaning policy anyway.

Just check out ANY article about Michelle Obama on conservative websites (freerepublic, hotair, redstate, national review, dailycaller, breitbart, st0rmfr0nt, amren, townhall, gatewaypundit, etc)... Any article on her brings out the most virulent racist comments you can imagine.
Yet, some conservatives will claim that their anti-Obama shyt isn't based on racism.
And they wonder why the GOP is 92 percent white
