Lol @ "no doubt in anyone's mind" that Saddam was an imminent threat justifying invasion. Which is why our only major allies in this War were the U.K., Australia and...I guess Bolivia :yeshrug:

This whole hamfisted attempt at rewriting history by the Neocons is ridiculous. Like they offered peace in Iraq served on a silver platter in 2009. :mjlol:Neo-Cons always forget to add THE COST. Sure in theory, we may have been be able to establish a marginally viable Iraqi government when we played permanent peacekeeper to the tune of over a trillion dollars, 4,500 American lives on top of hundreds of thousand Iraqi lives. :snoop:To top it off, their brilliant solution to keep this sham going forward is for us commit more troops and more money indefinitely...for a cause BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION was ultimately wrong. :dwillhuh:

dikk Cheney is one of the most shameless human beings alive. How he can have the balls to go around publicly talking the shyt he has been talking considering what went down during his and Bush's two terms in office is just mindboggling.

Here is the full interview:

Kelly tried a little bit more pushback to some of Cheney's comments as the interview went on. She didn't grill him or anything but she did more than I ever expected from anyone at Fox News.

Go look up the quotes. Even the Clinton administration felt he had WMDs. Democrats think they get a pass for the war, but they're not getting off. They voted for it, and wanted it since the '90s. Gore was by far more hawkish than Bush was in the debates, and was a big supporter of the war. It was all part of the bigger plan. They're all in the same bunch. Just like the US funding terrorists in Syria.

I see what you are saying but my criticism doesn't just fall on the prevailing Democratic and Republican talking points at the time. There were plenty of Americans, and others around the world, who saw the flimsyiness of the case for a preemptive war against Iraq at the time. It was the the main reason why Barack started gaining more support vs. Hilary in the primaries. People were frustrated with the results of the Iraq War and Barack didn't support the war but Hilary did. That and Obama ran a better grassroots campaign strategy. My main issue is how can someone, whose been wrong across the board about the consequences of American action in Iraq, suddenly spring back into the limelight and expect their criticism to be credible

It's flabbergasting. The man has a huge pair of balls. I'll give him that. It's like the Wolf giving the farmer tips on how to protect his sheep.
