Brees benefited greatly from a dome environment, that’s simply a fact

Rodgers has 4 MVPs, and his TD/INT ratio is otherworldly. His peak is better, his arm is better, is legs are better

Brees had bad defenses but I simply Don’t think they were vastly worse than GBs
I'm glad you mentioned MVPs. Is that a measure of talent and ability in your opinion?

You can disagree with facts all you want I suppose, but the 2012 Saints gave up the most yards in the history of the league. The 2015 Saints gave up the highest passer rating in the history of the league. The 2016 defense was only slightly better than that.

I think MVPs are a good measuring stick on your standing against QBs in your era. And Brees didn’t match up to Rodgers in that respect

Blaming the defense for an entire career only goes so far.. that’s your main argument.

The 2012 Saints defense allowed over 7,000 yards that season!
:mindblown::hhh:

That "Defense" and the "7-9 Purgatory" from 2014-16 :scusthov: :scust: :hhh:

The 2015 Saints gave up the highest passer rating in the history of the league.

Didn't they also give up a record-breaking amount of Touchdown passes? :smh: :snoop:

And at the center of that :trash: was that piece of shyt "#39". :pacspit:

What does standing mean? Is it a measure of talent or not? If it's not, why do we care about someone's standing? Did Brees have MVP caliber seasons? Yes, multiple times.

That's not my entire argument at all (Brees has more TDs, more 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives, has done more with less in terms of weapons etc, that's just something you keep trying to brush over or dismiss.

And the reason I specifically said the longer Rodgers plays the stronger the Brees better argument looks is it is clear to me that Brees aged better than Rodgers. In their age 35-41 seasons Brees has more wins, more TDs, more completions, higher passer rating, higher average net yard per attempt. People are surprised at what Rodgers has been unable to do later in his career because Brady and Brees made it look easy.

The forces of nature will never allow a MVP in N.O. :mjcry:

Everytime Brees put together a MVP season, one of the QBs who are higher up on the media-darling pecking order (Brady/Peyton/Rodgers) or the next big thing (Mahomes) would go into hyper mode, outshine him, and get the nod. :francis:

Hell, :smugfavre: (who was also on the same media-darling level as Brady/Peyton/Rodgers) would've gotten the nod over him in 2009 if it came down between the two of them instead of Peyton and Brees. :francis:

Even if a Saints QB puts together a MVP-caliber season this upcoming season, one of these QBs that everyone wants to have next (Burrow/Herbert) will have a career year and get it over them. :francis:

It is what it is. :snoop:

Sidenote: Tua would probably be chosen MVP over them as well. :jordanfacepalm:

Lmao now I know you’re trolling. Rodgers won 2 MVPs in his 35-41 year old seasons. How many did Brees win his entire career?

This encapsulates Brees. Amazing QB. All time great.

But he’s not better than Rodgers, Manning, Brady even at his peak. We all saw them play together, he never separated himself

Hmmm wait a minute…

When Manning won it was because he was so smart it was pointless for him to have a coach…

But when he lost it was because he didn’t have a coach

Dominate in the regular season then struggle in Foxboro come January

A bunch of accolades but not enough of the big one

If he was a basketball player he’d be…

*thinks* :pachaha:

Where is Burrow if Allen and Lamar are up there? :dahell:
Burrow is great but hasn't worked his way to that level yet...
Wasted no time contradicting yourself:beli:

Let's take a look a look at those playoff resumes;
Marino: 8-10
Manning: 14-13
Mahomes: 17-4

We know it's a personal thing because it damn sure ain't about logic. Mahomes clears Manning easily.
🤣 🤣 just no, bro 😂 🤣
