Not sure if this will reach air though. I remember in 09, Norman Lear wanted to create a show about 70s wrestling on HBO but I think Vince squashed it.

Imagine they get some 30-ish cats to play Hulk Hogan-esque and Ric Flair-like characters. Dude marrying McMayne's daughter, his son going into exile. Doofus Carter running the "competition".
