FPS games need better ways for newbies to get acclimated to multiplayer

it makes no sense that when I hop into a game for the first time I'm getting destroyed by spawn campers, people who've mastered the maps, and generally more seasoned players.

AT LEAST GIVE ME SOME TIME TO GET MY BEARINGS DAMMIT!

I think it ruins the fun and turns some people away from playing FPS games. i swore off FPS' for years for this reason.​

As far as maps go, they're generally adapted from single player, so you could start there. Otherwise... I mean everyone has to go through an acclimation period.

Most of us been on FPS' heavy since AT LEAST Goldeneye...how much more practice you need? A FPS is a FPS... there's never some game changing difference to where you shouldn't be able to adapt

I swear I feel utter trash playing these multiplayers from GTA(feel like getting better until you face the one nikka who ranks in 300+ in team death match)
Same shyt on uncharted but am usually 7-8 ratio kill to death ratio
On battlefield am that one nikka that runs to the action just to get sniped by a fakkit crawling
I remember getting killed to many times I just said fukk it and spawned on to the reinforcement tanks/planes etc
The first time I had the plane it took 20 sec to nose dive that bytch
I didn't let that shyt stop me got back to the base and got the only tank left
Did alright but still destroyed so I took the last horse

The only acclimation most people go through is the maps themselves. After a certain point it becomes your skill level

once you get aiming down, it's pretty much just learning the maps for whatever game.

if you need to get aiming down.. it's gonna be a bunch of hours of getting your ass kicked.. good luck

Cater to your playstyle and learn the maps like the back of your hand. I run and gun so I play the short range shotty, smg game heavy. I avoid wide open areas and I'm not patient enough to be a sniper so I never play it

Most important thing is to have fun, shyt does get hella competitive when a nikka gettin on ya nerves and don't drink if you care about ya stats because that's the easiest way the fukk your shyt completely up. I do it weekend after weekend when I'm on the most.
