FPS games need better ways for newbies to get acclimated to multiplayer

Like its been said before, if you've been playing video games long enough, nothing really new from fps to fps. The biggest acclimation imo is the speed of some of these games (COD). I remember playing COD for the first time in a while walkin around chillin gettin bodied. Got back used to the pace and I was fine.
