I don’t understand how the game just came out on console but you got people throwing portals in time and teleporting across the map in 4 parsecs. I guess it’s the PC players smurfing with new accounts. Ain’t no way you learned all the characters that fast.

MY first impression. This shyt doesn't have a clue if what it wants to be(fundamentally). It has the Standard mode which us it's attempt to kinda sorta be it's own thing but...eh(I'll have to check it out completely sober and when I'm actually somewhat competent at the game itself) so that leads us back to the regular shyt(TDM, Kill Confirmed, FFA, etc..) What do you wanna be game? It's portals, sliding, jump spots, health packs etc..might as well had wall running too imo. I've seen some cool shyt(maybe it's the cards, but you only get seconds to look over them before you are forced back into the game) People have turtle shells in their back(I get the purpose, but what a strange choice aesthetically..among many strange choices aesthetically) I gotta play more and I will because I'm not playing 2042 or whatever COD we are own now) but all this is making me wish is that XDefiant wasn't such a huge fukk up.

Man I downloaded Valorant played the training section and then promptly deleted that shyt. So I'll say this much, I've played it more than that.

That's actually what I commend the game for. I said the same thing at first, but after playing it with friends, I realize that's what the game does well.

These days games lock modes behind timers and all type of shyt, here's a game that's like a PS2 era game, with a crazy ton of modes and modifiers to change the outcome of each match. It's pretty fun, I just don't like the aesthetic at all

I can't front. I'm having fun, BUT I DEF agree with you on the bolded. That Neon Future/Batman Forever kinda shyt. And the crazy thing is with all the colorful shyt going on the stages are pretty fukking dull looking.
