How can it be islamophobic if isn't Islamic? It's a cultural tool meant to treat women as inferior. It would be like calling female genital mutilation prohibition islamophobic wouldn't it?
This is the same issue going on in Denmark and circumcision. Even mentioning reform of circumcision practices is "anti-Semitism".
Some cultural practices and religious practices are not compatible with modern day secular laws, and for good reason.
