You look at Iraq, they had one of the longest christian communities in the world that was in place until the US supported radicals took over after the US backed removal of Sadaam.
You look at Syria, another long held christian community integrated into society, after the US backed attempted coup of Assad, used backed radicals ran them out of the nation.
Copt christians in Egypt existed for centuries safe, until muslim brotherhood backed extremists took root in Egypt getting public support by being against US backed military dictators who have been in control of Egypt since the 60s.
Its the same story all over, you have had traditional long lasting non muslim communities that only recently have been driven out the region thanks to radicals backed by the US.

Tell me what those christians did to the natives in South America. Unfortunately the Gulf arab side is winning so egypt /iraq/libya for example have become less tolerant today

The wahabbism of the saudis, that they've exported, is a relatively new movement though, and not one traditionally practiced in Islam in the region though, atleast through my studies.

Nigeria issue with islam is firmly politically from what I've read.
India and Pakistan is also political and what caused the split and creation of Pakistan in the first place.
Yemen is wahabbist Saudi armed by US invading a nation that is now Shiite controlled. IE a civil war with a regional state intruding.
Bangladesh also more political than religions.

What you have thrown out is akin to me saying christianity is evil because the IRA bombings.
