They're still people tho.

And to think masculinity is at risk to being wiped out is a laughable concept.

On first few listens, there is nothing as urgent or haunting as 'Novacane', or as compelling and beautiful as 'Pyramids (Second Half) but I like a lot of the songs...it's way more abstract then his previous work, with lighter production, I enjoy it, it's just missing those tracks like you zone out on over and over, it's a more cohesive project, with some incredible production, even if it it sometimes limited to interludes, or intro's. I don't connect emotionally as much to this project, I think the lyrics should be sharper drawn, to contrast the laid back, background esque sound.

Lol, "scooping your homie up to go eat some ice cream" sounds a lot more suspect than this album...

yeah that's another thing he a great song writer but there no knock out punch record that gets stuck in your head

pink and white comes close though

i think his rapping on endless is pretty tight though

I don't knock gay people for being gay, I don't view it as something they can change :yeshrug:

Frank Ocean always came off as just another nerdy kid, so a lot of his stuff was cool to me even after he came out, but you can hear that he's been hanging out with rich white people on this album more so than the odd future days

Odd Future hanging out with them kind of kept him more grounded, and now he's moving more left,, I do think there's an agenda to feminize men and the death of masculinity is real

gay people get use for that separate from their orientation

But that's just my opinion

True and as he changed his crowd and got money it seemed he's stopped agressing issues relevant to the black community

I figured someone like frank with his type of audience would have more to say on current events or atleast a song like crack rock on Blond.

Maybe it went over my head but he didn't say much with substance this album as he has in the past.

I also don't think the album is pro Gay either. It's just whatever

I expected more:manny:

Song order is so important, when I first tried to listen to the album is was set to shuffle. So odd and off. Then I corrected it but my first impression from the first few songs was not so good.

This seem on first listen even in order, disjointed and trying to hard to be...something. I only like a few songs so far

I need to listen again to the whole album in correct order. I'm still not over my first impression.

This..The album just doesn't feel cohesive on my first few listens.
