The video's just a representation of how you've got to build your way to the top & even when you get to the top, you just find yourself at a parallel place & have to build all over again ie "endless." Works for art in general (albums specifically) or life overall. Don't know if I need 40+ mins of the visual metaphor backdropping this audio, but it works for what he intended I guess.

lmao funny. i saw the tweet from 6 months ago where some dude said frank ocean wanted his friend to help him build a staircase. i had no clue that was the whole video. just assumed there was a staircase at some point.
