That last album was trash. He had a winning formula with nostalgia, ultra and channel orange but then he decided to make an album with no basslines on all but 2 tracks

Nostalgia ultra is very basic compared to blonde. Channel orange arguably is too

Blonde is so good but Self Control is my favorite from that album followed by white Ferrari, then nights

I can't wait for the new album. Blonde was heartbreaking but after he dropped Chanel, its obvious the new one will be a bit happier. He seems to be in love right now so maybe that will produce some happy 'in love' songs.
